Elana is an artist based in Baltimore, working as a Habitat Fabricator at the National Aquarium. Passionate about metal and welding, she just started her own jewelry business, You & Island, whose pieces are cast using cuttlefish bone, the bone of a small color-changing squid. She works out every day, is restless, just shaved her eyebrows, and loves to dance.
